Liverpool, facing PSG, beat Galatasaray 4-0, while Paris Saint-Germain eliminated Chelsea 8-2 in the two-legged tie. Spanish Real Madrid eliminated English Manchester City 5-1, German Bayern Munich beat Italian Atalanta 10-2, Spanish FC Barcelona beat British Newcastle 8-3 and Spanish Atlético Madrid eliminated English Tottenham 7-5.
